What we collect
We collect your phone number, your name and the history of your fitas: top-ups, payments, refunds and withdrawals. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive the name and account identifier those services share.
What it is for
Your phone number, which you enter yourself, is how people invite you to a fita and transfer tickets to you. The history is used to show your balance, handle refunds and meet accounting obligations.
Payments
Top-ups and withdrawals are processed by M-Pesa, e-Mola and the card networks. Paga does not store card details or your mobile wallet PIN.
Sharing
On a shared fita, members see the activity on that fita. The venue or event organizer sees the payments confirmed at their bar.
Retention
Fita history is kept for as long as it is needed for accounting and audit purposes.
